CommentA slr0309-lacking mutant grew photosynthetically as well as wild type. Accumulation of Mg-protoporphyrin monomethyletser (MPE) was not detected in the mutant. Any evidence for that Slr0309 is involved in MPE cyclase reaction has not obtained.
